When a couple of São Paulo businessmen and their 22 year old son acquired a vacation apartment in Rio condominium Riserva Uno, in Barra da Tijuca, They knew what they wanted: comfort, first class material, praianos details and more importantly , enjoy the view of the ocean right there in front. And, the interior designer Angela Medrado made necessary changes to give 260 m² the soul of a space dedicated to relaxation.
To begin with, one of the four suites was deleted to make room for home theater, which had one of the walls removed to join the social area, – whose floor was completely covered by white travertine marble. This room is defined without being separated from the living room, for a hollow panel made of wood mahogany, same material used in much of the joiner place. There, a huge rack was installed finished with white lacquer that accommodates not only the TV, but also the objects mined by the family in their travels.
The living room has white linen sofas, a large coffee table and photos of their son , the beach weather is guaranteed by a pair of bamboo chairs . Here again a hollow panel timber ensures the division of spaces without compromising range.
The tones of blue sky and sea, including, were the reason why the house has not won an office, essential space for entrepreneurs looking to spend a few months out of the city where they live. “The integrated balcony received a huge round table (Elle et Lui Maison) in which they put their laptops and work, happy, surrounded by the landscape,” says interior designer.
To complete the feeling of warmth was privileged in the intimate area. All rooms have gained wood floors, custom cabinetry and soft lighting. In the master suite, the role of rustic wall (of Orlean) adds even more visual comfort.
